Our own personal motivations to have a more worthwhile travel experience. Our past experience in the volunteerism sector and the growing conversation about the need for and impact of ethical tourism practices. Tourism is a huge industry and we are on the forefront of a movement, which could combine some of the most enjoyable personal experiences readily available to us, with one of the most worthwhile opportunities of growth for all involved. We love to travel, we love to learn about other cultures, we want to have a positive impact, and we know that many others share our views.
Our aim is to support service providers that contribute positively to their community by promoting them through an online platform and in a Good Travel App. We will also educate and encourage tourists to travel more ethically and have a positive impact on the communities they visit. We believe that travellers want to give back to the places and people they visit, connect with the communities they spend time with, and learn from their travels. We believe that by facilitating the process for travellers to give back, this will encourage conscientious travelling and this will result in an increased demand for worthwhile service providers. We also support and encourage providers to up their standards and to give back to their community. We are making better tourism practice, easier.
Our business is the impact and our impact is the foundation for our business model. Our entire aim is to promote, to enable and to share Good Travel practices. We are offering a service and information to tourists and we are offering promotion and support to our providers.
We use local knowledge combined with international tourism research and expertise to enable travellers to give back to the places and people they visit, transform the way travel is experienced and promote better travel practices. We are doing a pilot project in Cusco, Peru, where one of our founders is located. We are doing thorough research into service providers and outlining the best model for information collection and verification. With the creation of the Good Travel website and App, we will be able to share this information with people and help them to make better travel choices. We will follow with USA, South Africa and New Zealand and continue generate up-to-date information.

It would help us develop a unique, state-of-the-art App that could revolutionize the way we travel and the way we contribute to communities. It would help us to improve our website and create an online database and network. It would give us capital to properly market Good Travel and source memberships. It will allow us to do thorough in-country research and properly accredit service providers. It will cover our overheads and help us to become a sustainable organization that advocates for better travel practices and for the advancement of ethical travel.
